OVH
In order to modify the DNS records on OVH, you can follow these steps.
Step 1: Log in to your OVH account
Open a web browser and navigate to the OVH website (https://www.ovh.com/).
Click on the "Login" button and enter your OVH account credentials to log in.
Step 2: Access the DNS management for your domain
After logging in, navigate to the "Domains" section in the OVH control panel.
Select the domain "example.com" from the list of your domains.
Step 3: Configure the A records
In the DNS management interface, look for the section to manage A records.
Locate any existing A records for "www.example.com" and make a note of their values.
Step 4: Add or modify the A records
Add or modify two A records with the following details:
Type: A
Target: 75.2.81.85
TTL: Set a value between 60 and 120 seconds
Add another A record with the same details but with the target as 99.83.215.215.
If there are existing A records for "www.example.com" that you want to modify, update their values accordingly.
Step 5: Add the CNAME record
Look for the section to manage CNAME records.
Add a new CNAME record with the following details:
Subdomain: www
Target: wwwexamplecom.isf-edge.com
Step 6: Save the changes
After adding or modifying the DNS records, click on the "Save" or "Apply Changes" button to save the modifications.
Step 7: Verify the DNS changes
Allow some time for the DNS changes to propagate. This process may take some time, typically a few minutes to a few hours, depending on the TTL set for the records.
Use a DNS lookup tool or the
nslookup
command to verify that the new DNS records are resolving correctly to the desired IP addresses and CNAME.
By following these steps in the OVH control panel, you should be able to modify the DNS records of the "www.example.com" domain with two A records and a new CNAME record for iSmartFrame. Keep in mind that the exact steps and interface may vary slightly depending on the OVH control panel version and any updates made by OVH.
