In order to modify the DNS records on a general domain or DNS provider, you can follow these steps.
Open a web browser and log in to your account with the domain registrar or DNS provider where your domain "example.com" is registered.
Locate the DNS management or DNS settings section for the domain.
Once you are in the DNS management section, look for an interface that allows you to manage DNS records for your domain.
Find the existing A records associated with the domain "".
Take note of any other existing records you want to keep or modify.
Add or modify two new A records with the following details:
Record 1:
Type: A
Value: 75.2.81.85
TTL: Set a value between 60 and 120 seconds
Record 2:
Type: A
Value: 99.83.215.215
TTL: Set a value between 60 and 120 seconds
If there are existing A records for "" that you want to modify, update their values accordingly.
Add a new CNAME record with the following details:
Type: CNAME
Name: www
Value: wwwexamplecom.isf-edge.com
After adding or modifying the DNS records, save the changes in the DNS management interface.
Wait for the changes to propagate through the DNS system. This process may take some time, typically a few minutes to a few hours, depending on the TTL set for the records.
Use a DNS lookup tool or the nslookup
command to verify that the new DNS records are resolving correctly to the desired IP addresses and CNAME.
